This is the fourth volume of the Harvard Chinese Language Series. It is designed to bring students with intermediate-low language proficiency to intermediate-mid proficiency. The volume covers an array of topics under four broad themes: Across Space, Over Generations, Among People, and Through Time. Functional language and stimulating contents are introduced through exchanges among fictional characters of diverse backgrounds, including Chinese-Americans, non-Chinese Ameircans, and Chinese from different walks of life in mainland China and Taiwan.
