This is the third volume of the Harvard Chinese Language Series for heritage students. It is designed for heritage-track students who have varying degrees of aural-oral proficiency but lack in reading and writing skills. The volume covers common everyday exchanges about cultural practices and perspectives as well as critical issues and notable recent and historical events, while introducing relevant functional language throughout. The text follows a storyline with several fictional characters representing various backgrounds and ethnicities of Chinese language learners.
